- Partner with Project Managers to bid projects, negotiate work, and follow up with clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and architects
- Analyze projects pre-bid for risks, profitability, and overall feasibility
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to define scope and trade requirements
- Prepare and submit RFIs/RFCs to architects and project managers
- Obtain and evaluate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify potential project risks and cost impacts early in the process
- Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits or coordinate site surveys
- Review and qualify subcontractor/vendor proposals for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of bids per client requirements
- AAS Degree in Drafting or a related construction field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- AutoCAD or drafting experience preferred
- Previous estimating experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
