As an Associate Merchant at Walmart, you will support category management through supplier negotiations, purchase order administration, and item setup for both stores and online channels. • Support supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories.
• Assist merchants with resolving supplier issues and setting up new suppliers for stores and online.
• Execute customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor category performance through sales reports and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Develop and implement feature proposals and promotional themes across channels.
• Leverage data analysis tools to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Support item setup, pricing recommendations, and modular assortment execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal partners to drive business results.
