As a Ground Crew Job Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals as they develop valuable work skills in janitorial and grounds maintenance settings. Responsibilities
- Guide and support individuals with developmental disabilities as they perform janitorial and grounds maintenance tasks at various sites.
- Provide clear, ongoing instructions to promote vocational growth and skill development.
- Supervise and manage a crew of custodial trainees, offering direction, encouragement, and hands-on training.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and deliver excellent customer service to site stakeholders and contract representatives.
- Maintain necessary supplies for the crew, document work performed, and ensure the upkeep of the company vehicle.
- Represent Achievement House professionally while interacting with individuals served and the broader community.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid California driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (driving is an essential function).
- Ability to provide ongoing proof of current state-required auto insurance.
- Ability to clear fingerprinting through the California Department of Justice and the FBI.
- Successful completion of First Aid/CPR training (training provided onsite).
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Compensation
$23.00 per hour plus a $250 sign-on bonus . This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm (32 to 40 hours per week).
