We are looking for a trusted escalation resource who can provide expert guidance when advanced issues arise and help mentor our engineers so they can build internal expertise.ResponsibilitiesAssist senior engineers with complex Palo Alto firewall troubleshootingReview firewall configurations and recommend best practicesHelp design and validate advanced security architecturesProvide guidance on Panorama, VPNs, routing, NAT, and security policiesMentor our engineers so they can independently manage similar issues in the futureTypical EngagementOn-demand consultation (remote)Estimated 5-15 hours per monthOccasional scheduled working sessions with our engineering teamRequirementsCandidates must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. We are unable to consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship or international contractors for this role.Required ExperienceMust be located in the United States7+ years network security experienceStrong expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewallsExperience with Panorama and large rule basesStrong troubleshooting and architecture skillsPreferredPCNSE certificationExperience working with MSPs or multiple client environmentsAbility to explain solutions and mentor engineersBenefitsCompensation: $100-$250 per hour depending on experience and certifications.
