Job Description Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts in one of our new TurboTax locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Local Service Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." About the Role: You will work on-site from a TurboTax location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person and virtual customers who use Intuit TurboTax products. Your primary focus will be full-service tax return preparation, providing expert tax advice, calculations, and software support. You will also connect customers with a broader team covering business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services, engaging in shared meetings to build a complete financial picture. You will work in lock-step with the right experts to deliver a seamless, end-to-end Intuit experience. Key responsibilities include: Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations. Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future planning advice. Work with professionals (government websites, tools, and team expertise) to deliver accurate solutions in everyday language. Act as a proactive community ambassador, building and growing a local customer base through outreach, marketing, and partnerships. Organize and lead local events such as financial literacy workshops, pop-ups, and networking gatherings. Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem, connecting clients to complementary services such as bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma. Build relationships, demonstrate sensitivity, and ensure long-term trust for ongoing support. Key Qualifications: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience. Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more individual 1040 returns per season; familiarity with Circular 230. Willingness to upskill into additional services (bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory). Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00 AM-5:00 PM local time, Monday-Friday, minimum 20 hours per week. Willingness to complete required training, compliance, up-skilling, cross-training, and professional development. Willingness to wear Intuit uniform, use name and picture for advertising. Interests in building a local and online social presence and creating accessible tax-related content. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus. Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing. Additional Requirements: Must reside within the United States. Must possess or be able to obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds. Contract type: Full-time, Permanent (non-exempt). Work hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM local time, Monday-Friday, at least 20 hours per week; hours may increase during tax season. Locations: Onsite at TurboTax offices across the United States.
