Senior Capital Project Engineer - Manufacturing

Large manufacturer in east TN, near Greeneville, has an immediate job opening in their IT group. This is an  Information Technology Specialist / Help Desk role.

Projects in the  office will involve:

• Replacing and deploying laptops
• Troubleshooting various IT issues
• Verifying network connectivity
• Resolving wireless issues
• Working on server issues

Projects on  manufacturing floor will involve:

• Diagnosing and solving issues with various IoT devices
• Working with barcode printers and scanners
• Raspberry Pi

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years experience in an IT / Help Desk role. Must be comfortable on the production floor. Good communication skills are essential as this role interacts with everyone from hourly employees to executive leadership.

Some travel to the sister facility about 50 miles away will be necessary (mileage is reimbursed)

Targeting salary ranges in the $65-85K range. Bonus is never guaranteed, but 3-5% is a good target. 

Would love to find someone with 3-5 years experience who can grow into a Network Engineer or similar role, eventually focusing on larger infrastructure projects.
