Line Leader

Line LeaderAs a Line Leader you will be responsible for managing the total operation of the production line to maximize performance within established safety, quality, and cost parameters.The Line Leader will:Serve as a customer liaison and ensure customer quality requirements are metAnalyze production data and identify opportunities for increased productivity and qualityDrive to key performance goals for production linesWork with various departments on short term and long term projectsThe Line Leader should have:Proven ability to coach, mentor, energize, and engage hourly and salary team membersStrong desire and drive to learn new systems and processesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient with MS Office, including experience using Excel for data analysisQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent is requiredBachelor's degree (Production or Operations Management, Business, or related discipline) is preferred3-5 years experience supervising people and processes in a manufacturing environmentPrevious glass industry experience is highly preferredExperience with Lean Six Sigma preferredAvailability to support 24/7 operationsAdditional InformationWhat we offer at O-I:Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $100,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.
