By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a ETL and Data Analyst to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).ETL Project design• Lead discussions with client stakeholders to understand critical business success factors and key performance indicators• Identify and propose requirement solutions to business and subject matter experts• Create new solutions to complex design issues• Develop long term application development strategiesTechnical Development Leadership• Build and integrate transactional and data warehousing systems• Create application design and define the ETL (extract, transform, load) approach• Coordinate with developers, quality assurance testers, project managers, database administrators, business experts, and subject matter experts to deliver new and enhanced applications• Create technical documents, such as the Software Design Document, ETL Design Document, Release Notes, Install Document, and Implementation Plan• Analyze solution and architecture design to determine technical risks• Review code and ensure it is aligned to the design standards• Create run books and schedule jobs to adhere to service level agreements (SLAs)• Deploy code, such as datastage, Unix shell scripts, and database scripts, in test, user acceptance testing, and production environments• Review implementation plan with the client and release managerApplication Deployment• Document and review test process, production implementation, and post deployment support• Analyze code, suggest improvements, and implement improved code• Create and plan implementation backup strategies• Coordinate with the data center, client, database administrators, datastage administrators, development team, and stakeholders for various deployment activities• Validate the deployment and review the data with business users• Serve as technical and functional lead by driving the deployment process• Track defects found in code, fix code, and close issues• Report status on the applications and projectsThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
