Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – Four 10-hour shifts (0645–1715) with call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinically competent perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room setting
• Assist with and support ophthalmology surgeries, joint replacement procedures, and urology cases
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative process
• Maintain readiness for on-call responsibilities as required by the department
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Annual NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Prior operating room nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Demonstrated strength in ophthalmology, joint replacement, and/or urology surgical services
