Quick Facts: Location: 1 Good Samaritan Way, Mount Vernon, IL 62864 Start Date: 09/07/2026 (flexible) End Date: 12/07/2026 Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Last patient at 4:15 PM) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Contract License/Certifications: IL State license, BC in Internal Medicine or Endocrinology, BLS required Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $253.50 Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time according to state and federal laws Travel and licensure reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do: Provide outpatient endocrine care for adult patients with common conditions such as thyroid disorders, diabetes, and pituitary issues Perform thyroid FNAs and other minor procedures Review and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging Collaborate with support staff including RN, diabetes educator, dietitian, and APP Manage a patient load of approximately 12–15 adults and geriatrics Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a welcoming environment What You Need: MD or DO with BC in Endocrinology (preferred) Illinois medical license or eligibility BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience Strong communication skills and ability to work solo with support About the Assignment: Join a reputable healthcare organization in Mount Vernon, Illinois, providing outpatient endocrine services in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
