Mechanic - Multiple Opportunties!

iWorld Professionals is seeking an experienced Mechanic to support the reliability and performance of utility systems . If you have hands-on experience working on large-scale industrial equipment and thrive in complex utility environments, this opportunity is for you.

Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial mechanical and utility equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations
• Partner with Operations and Planning teams to coordinate maintenance activities, outages, and equipment upgrades
• Support capital improvements, equipment overhauls, and modernization initiatives
• Document all maintenance activities within the computerized maintenance management system
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Provide support during emergency or unplanned outage situations

Mechanic Experience Requirements:

• Demonstrated strong mechanical and basic electrical aptitude
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment and support systems (lubrication, fuel, hydraulic, cooling, and control systems)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system prints
• Proven troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving ability
• Clear communication skills and commitment to safety and environmental compliance
• Extensive experience in industrial utilities, mechanical maintenance or comparable experience
• Experience working with industrial rotating equipment including pumps, air compressors, steam turbines, and related auxiliary systems
• Valid, unrestricted NYS driver's license
