SECURITY GUARD JOB SUMMARY The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for guests, staff, and visitors. This position plays a key role in incident prevention, crowd control, and enforcing park policies. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, approachable, and capable of handling fast-paced situations common in an indoor adventure park environment. PAY RANGE: $13-$16 per hour. - Monitor all guest areas, entrances, exits, and high-activity zones.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe behavior and ensure compliance with park rules.
- Support staff with guest issues, conflicts, or escalations.
- Assist in emergency response procedures including evacuations, first-aid situations, and incident containment.
- Prior security, military, law enforcement, or hospitality security experience preferred.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflicts appropriately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods in a busy entertainment environment.
- Must be reliable and punctual, especially during weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work required schedule: Friday, 4 PM - 9 PM, Saturday 1 PM - 9PM, Sunday 1 PM - 9 PM, with additional holiday availability.
- Standing and walking for long stretches
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations
