GA. Experience with construction layout, architectural/structural plan interpretation, field engineering, and concrete construction is required.Key Responsibilities:* Sets up and maintains permanent control throughout the line and grade portion of the project.* Validates accurate dimensions by reviewing architectural and structural drawings prior to execution.* Identifies any discrepancies in drawings prior to execution.* Engages the project lead on the line and grade portion of the project to ensure proper scheduling and sequencing.* Proficient with advanced instruments and the total station to perform an accurate layout.* Completes a layout accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.* Communicate with clients on a daily basis* Delivers layout information to the project team to ensure proper execution.Minimum Qualifications:* 5- 7 years of experience in field engineering, surveying, and layout for a large-scale self-perform GC or Concrete Contractor.* Self-perform experience of concrete.* Proficiency with MS Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Workspace* Excellent organizational and communication skills.* Customer-centric mindset* Experience across a wide variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.* Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.* Experience with using advanced instruments and capable of using Total Station to perform layouts.Preferred qualifications:* OSHA 10 or OSHA 30* Experience coaching, leading, or mentoring junior team members### Why Join Lowe Engineers — A Part of MacKay?#### The best of both organizationsJoin a team with nearly 70 years of engineering excellence and trusted client relationships, backed by the resources, expertise, and opportunities of a growing national firm.A people-first culture At MacKay, we put people first. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.*US Pay Range$25—$40 USDFull-time employees receive a well-rounded benefit package including access to our company-sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company’s 401(k) plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees receive paid vacation and sick time, 11 paid holidays, and are able to participate in employee ownership options. MacKay pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual performance bonuses.Employment requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
