Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure for Rhode Island, or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in a school setting, providing therapy and support for K-12 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of speech and language disorders
• Passion for helping students reach their communication goals in an educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students per their IEP/504 goals
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school policies and professional guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings, progress reporting, and staff consultations
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating therapeutic atmosphere
