Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and professionally to incoming KBB ICO leads.
• Build relationships with vehicle owners and educate them about the vehicle acquisition process.
• Follow up consistently with leads to schedule and confirm appraisal appointments.
• Serve as a vehicle inventory expert with strong knowledge of a wide variety of makes, models, trim levels, options, and automotive technology.
• Inspect vehicles for signs of wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repairs, or structural damage.
• Complete accurate vehicle condition reports using the technology and tools provided.
• Capture vehicle and customer information accurately using a mobile device and CRM.
• Evaluate vehicles and make financially sound purchasing decisions based on condition, market data, and dealership inventory needs.
• Complete all required purchasing documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current used-vehicle market conditions, pricing, trends, and demand.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, appointments, appraisals, purchases, and follow-up activity in the CRM.
• Follow all Cavender Auto Family policies, appraisal procedures, and acquisition guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused experience throughout the entire purchasing process.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successfully complete an MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
• Strong understanding of automobiles, including makes, models, features, options, and general mechanical terminology.
• Solid automotive mechanical aptitude; formal technical experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems, mobile devices, and computer technology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage a high volume of leads and customer interactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
• Ability to evaluate information, make sound purchasing decisions, and remain disciplined when negotiating vehicle acquisitions.
