Job Summary Are you passionate about nature and birding? Wild Birds Unlimited is seeking an organized and reliable Backroom Associate to support the store's operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that our backroom is well‑organized and stocked, which helps create a seamless experience for our customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working behind the scenes, this is the job for you! Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service : Greet and assist customers, and provide expert advice on bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products.1 Receive, unpack, and organize shipments of birding products and merchandise. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the backroom, ensuring that inventory is properly stored and easily accessible. Assist with restocking the sales floor by replenishing merchandise when necessary. Accurately label products and track inventory levels. Collaborate with store associates to fulfill customer orders and prepare products for pickup or shipment. Help maintain overall store organization and cleanliness. Qualifications Prior experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Dependability and punctuality are a must. Passion for birds and nature is a plus!
