Project Manager/Construction Manager

STV is seeking a Project Manager for the Construction Management Group in Joliette, Illinois.Summary:The Construction Manager will manage overall project objectives including design and construction within approved budgets.Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities in the field, managing and coordinating the flow of information, controlling costs, managing and controlling the schedule, monitoring the safety programs, as well as verifying that the completed work is constructed to a quality level consistent with the requirements of the construction documents.Roles and responsibilities include:Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others, ensuring Safety program is followedProvide construction and design management, and project leadershipProvide project single point of contact for project development and deliveryFacilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage change as requiredAttend and participate in project meetings for design and construction including the OAC, discipline work groups, progress, pre-construction and pre-awardApply influence, strategies, and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutionsOversee and report project progress on scope, schedule, budget and contractor performance weekly or as requiredReview trade contracts and bid packages, as well as coordinate the receiving processMaintain relationships with internal partners, designers, consultants and GC teamSet-up QA/QC procedures, review inspection and test data for compliance with specifications and standards and conduct quality field inspectionsReview and maintain site logistics plan, in coordination with GC, Operations team and Consultant teamQualifications include:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Project Management, or Construction Management or equivalent experiencePossess excellent communication, organization, and leadership skillsProficiency in commercial and industrial architecture and engineering with a primary focus on datacenter design and constructionAble to work with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment and do so with an even temperament.Compensation Range:$116,930.89 - $133,635.31STV offers the following benefits • Health insurance, including an option with a Health Savings Account • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care and Transit and Parking where applicable) • Disability insurance • Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment • 401(k) Plan • Retirement Counseling • Employee Assistance Program • Paid Time Off (starting at 16 days) • Paid Holidays (9 days) • Back-Up Dependent Care (up to 10 days per year) • Parental Leave (up to 80 hours) • Continuing Education Program • Professional Licensure and Society MembershipsSTV is committed to paying all of its employees in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner.
