Certified Nursing Assistant Location: Bellaire, MI, 49615 Shift: 7:00PM to 7:00AM Contract: 13 weeks Key Responsibilities: Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with eating and drinking, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration. Help residents move around, such as getting in and out of bed, chairs, and wheelchairs. Utilize transfer equipment like hoists or slide sheets for residents with limited mobility. Observe and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff or supervisor. Note signs of pain, discomfort, or behavioral changes. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, CNAs may assist with tasks related to medication administration, such as reminding residents to take medications or helping with topical treatments. Offer companionship and emotional support to residents. Listen and engage in conversations, providing comfort and reassurance. Engage residents in recreational activities and exercise programs.
