Physician Assistant

Job Summary Position: Physician Assistant – Correctional Facility (Inmate Medical Care) Department: Clinic Compensation $138,528 - $153,920 per year Responsibilities Deliver acute and emergency medical care in accordance with protocols. Consult with physicians and manage patient transfers when clinically indicated. Document all findings using the S.O.A.P. method and EMR systems. Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in quality improvement efforts. Provide cross-coverage and support psychiatric stability assessments. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Completion of an accredited PA program. Experience: Previous correctional/detention facility experience, minimum 2 years of experience. Licenses/Certifications: Unrestricted current license, certification or registration in state of practice; Current DEA registration; Current lifesaving BLS and PALS certification through AHA, all maintained.
