At Angel Aligner, you'll help produce life-changing medical devices in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while developing valuable technical skills and advancing your manufacturing career.The Production Operator is responsible for manufacturing, processing, inspecting, and packaging customized clear aligner medical devices in a highly automated, technology-driven production environment. This role supports daily manufacturing operations utilizing advanced equipment, digital workflows, and world-class automation to deliver high-quality products that improve patients' lives.The Production Operator plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, product quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting Angel Aligner's mission of transforming smiles through innovation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, adaptable, and energized by working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment where continuous improvement and teamwork drive success.Manufacturing & Production OperationsOperate and monitor advanced manufacturing equipment, automated production systems, and processing tools used in the fabrication of custom clear aligners.Load, unload, and oversee automated manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production flow and equipment utilization.Perform aligner trimming, polishing, finishing, cleaning, packaging, and related manufacturing activities according to approved procedures and work instructions.Follow standardized operating procedures, production schedules, and takt times to meet daily production and quality objectives.Support production line changeovers, start-ups, shutdowns, and routine operational activities.Quality & ComplianceMonitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and promptly report abnormalities, defects, or process deviations.Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to verify product accuracy, appearance, and compliance with manufacturing specifications.Verify product specifications and ensure alignment with customer prescriptions and manufacturing requirements.Adhere to FDA regulations, ISO 13485 requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company quality system procedures.Complete production records, quality documentation, and electronic data entries accurately and in a timely manner.Continuous Improvement & TeamworkContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence.Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning teams to achieve manufacturing goals.Participate in training programs to develop proficiency across multiple production processes and technologies.Support cross-training efforts and provide operational flexibility across production areas as business needs require.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while adhering to established procedures.Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately enter production and quality data.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and positive attendance record.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, automation, or industrial operations.Experience in medical device, dental, orthodontic, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or healthcare manufacturing environments.Experience working in GMP, ISO 13485, FDA-regulated, or other quality-controlled industries.Familiarity with automated equipment, robotics, high-volume manufacturing systems, or digital production technologies.Previous experience performing quality inspections and maintaining production documentation.Key CompetenciesQuality FocusAttention to DetailAccountabilityTeamwork & CollaborationAdaptabilityContinuous Improvement MindsetProblem SolvingLearning AgilityTime ManagementSafety AwarenessTechnology & Process OrientationPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and/or sit for extended periods during scheduled shifts.Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle small components, tools, and products.Ability to lift, move, and transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds.Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.Visual acuity sufficient to inspect products, identify defects, and verify quality requirements.Comfortable working in a clean, regulated manufacturing environment utilizing advanced equipment and automation technologies.Compensation and BenefitsAngel Aligner offers competitive compensation and a benefits package.
