Job Description:
Receptionist/Cashier

Krieger Ford is looking for a motivated individual to fill our Receptionist/Cashier position. The receptionist is responsible for answering a multi-line phone system with a positive, friendly and welcoming demeanor, in line with the dealership's vision and values on customer service.


The main purposes of our receptionist is to respond courteously to our customer's requests, maintain our daily sales schedule and phone directory, and play a crucial part in the general running of our cashier desk.


Responsibilities:

***Must be able to work some Saturdays***

Receptionist:
• Answering a multi-line phone system with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Transferring calls to the appropriate person/department
• Taking messages to the relevant departments when calls ring back
• Responsible for the creation and distribution of the daily sales schedule and company directory

Cashier:
• Provide friendly customer service while cashing out service, parts and body shop customers using CDK software.
• Handle both the cash drawer and credit card machine with accuracy
• Pre-invoice and close service repair orders
• Handling customer refunds
• Receipting car deals
• Balancing both credit card settlements and cash drawer

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task
• Has great attention to detail
• Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
• Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
• Professional appearance and eager to improve on all aspects
• Capable of effective communication
• Knowledge/Experience of ADP/CDK is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office is a plus

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or the equivalent, preferred.
• One year of reception experience in a retail facility is desirable.
