Job Description
The Assistant Director of DayCare supports the Director in managing day-to-day operations and program development, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for children. This role involves overseeing staff, fostering communication with parents, and contributing to administrative tasks to maintain smooth facility functions. The Assistant Director assists a team of 10+ staff members and occasionally travels to conferences to enhance professional growth and program quality.

Responsibilities
Supervise daycare staff to maintain quality care and compliance
Ensure child safety and enforce safety protocols
Communicate effectively with parents to address concerns and provide updates
Provide administrative support to the Director
Manage scheduling for staff and activities
Collaborate with team members on program development initiatives

Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in childcare management
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Expertise in childcare management, curriculum development, and staff supervision
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
Experience in parent engagement and safety compliance
Hold an Associates or Bacherlors
