CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital CST experience License: Not specified Certifications: NBSTA and DORA Certifications active Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital CST experience - Active NBSTA and DORA Certifications Description: Travel CST position available in the Operating Room. The unit has 16 beds and a dedicated staff for day and night shifts. Typical equipment used includes DaVinci Robotics. The EMR system is Meditech. Skill set most sought after includes travel CST experience. Transplant and spine experience is highly preferred. Candidates must have experience with procedures such as total joints and spine, as well as transplants. Robotic, vascular, ENT, and plastic procedures are also performed on the unit. There are no set schedules; staff will self-schedule after an initial round of shifts. On-call is required on weekends, typically consisting of 8-12 calls per 8-week period. A 30-minute response time is required when on-call. This is a competitive position that offers exposure to new equipment and technology.
