Supportive facility and regional leadership Opportunity to lead and develop a strong nursing team Stable, full-time leadership position And More Your Role as Director of Nursing As DON, you will provide leadership and direction for the nursing department while ensuring residents receive high-quality, compassionate care. Key responsibilities Lead, support, and develop the facility's nursing team Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and nursing services Promote strong clinical practices and positive resident outcomes Maintain appropriate nursing staffing and department organization Recruit, train, mentor, and retain nursing staff Monitor clinical documentation and standards of care Work closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leadership team Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Address clinical concerns involving residents, families, and staff Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Previous nursing leadership experience required Long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of clinical operations and regulatory requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to coach, develop, and hold nursing teams accountable Commitment to providing exceptional resident-centered care Leadership That Makes a Difference At Wabash Senior Living & Rehabilitation, the Director of Nursing plays a critical role in the success of our residents, employees, and entire facility.
