Business Development Manager (Construction Services)

Position Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new project opportunities, and supporting the pursuit of construction projects. This role plays a critical part in expanding our market presence while aligning new opportunities with the company's strategic goals and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate new leads and project opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and community stakeholders
• Identify and track potential projects in target markets (commercial, healthcare, industrial, multi-family, etc.)
• Lead and support proposal development, presentations, and client interviews
• Collaborate with preconstruction and project management teams to position competitive, client-focused solutions
• Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and community organizations
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
• Support brand awareness and marketing initiatives in collaboration with internal teams

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations within the construction or related industry
• Strong understanding of construction delivery methods (construction management, design-build, general contracting)
• Established network within the regional construction, real estate, or development community preferred
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven mindset
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
