Poker Brush (Cashier) - Part Time, Late Nights

Job Summary

This position typically starts at $15 per hour, plus tips and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

Provides cashiering and overall customer service assistance in the Poker room. Every day brings new energy, exciting guest interactions, and the chance to be at the heart of the casino action. How You Will Create the Extraordinary

• Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready-to-learn attitude.

• Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.

• Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

• Keep the action moving by exchanging and selling chips, ensuring every guest is ready for the next big hand.

• Celebrate winning moments by processing tournament payouts, Ace Cracked jackpots, and Bad Beat prizes.

• Take charge of accuracy and accountability by verifying count sheets and managing assigned banks with confidence.

• Wrap up each shift by balancing and reconciling funds, helping keep casino operations running smoothly.

• Welcome guests to the excitement by seating players and creating a great gaming experience from the moment they arrive.

• Help connect players to the action by managing and updating waitlists, ensuring everyone gets a chance to join the fun.

• Support a professional and game-ready environment by washing, sorting, and preparing cards whenever needed.

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

• Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.

• Must pass the required background check.

• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

• Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.

• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.

• Minimum six months to a year cash handling experience strongly preferred within high volume industries.

• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.

• Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer

• Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.

• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

• Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.

• Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.

• Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.

• Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

• Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.

• Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.

• Must have the dexterity to grip and work necessary items (chips, 10 key adding machine, money bags, computers, money, etc.).
