Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel assignment in Utica, NY
Start date: 08/04/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly pay: $1,402–$1,491 per week • Shift: 2:30 pm–10:30 pm (8 hours)
Setting: skilled nursing, long-term care with a 40-bed unit
37.5 hours guaranteed per week • Local rate available for locals within 75 miles

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Administer medications and monitor resident responses, documenting in the PointClick Care EMR
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition; respond to call lights promptly; manage safety and infection control
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with activities of daily living and perform basic clinical procedures as trained
- Float within the same building to cover unit needs and support staffing as required
- Ensure accurate documentation of care, treatments, and observations; comply with all LTC regulatory requirements

Requirements
- Active LPN license in New York; license verification via Nursys showing an ACTIVE NY LPN (and any other active licenses)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1+ year of licensed practical nurse experience in a long-term care facility
- Proficiency with PointClick Care or similar EMR systems
- Up-to-date resume including LTC experience and any travel experience
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting; willingness to float within the same building
- Drivers license with address matching demographics
- RTO (time off) must be included at the time of submission
- Local rate may apply for locals within 75 miles from Utica, NY
