Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Progressive Cardiac Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - BLS - ACLS Description: Progressive Cardiac Care Unit Information: Number of Beds: 34 Number of Staff: 44 Type of Staff: Day Shift: 11 PCTs, 12 RNs Night Shift: 6 PCTs, 13 RNs Patient Ratios: 1:5 for PCU level, 1:6 for MST level Type of Equipment: VS machines, EKG, bladder scanning, glucometers, continuous pulse oximetry EMR: Meditech On Call Requirement: None Floating Requirement: Within scope of practice Typical Skills Most Recruited For: Travel RNs Preferred or Nice to Have Skills: PCCN, TNCC, TCAR certifications Experience in ICU/PCU level of care, precepting experience List of Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Foley and NGT insertions Wound care Best Personality Fit: Flexible, adaptable, quick learner Positive attitude Additional Information: Upskilling staff to take PCU level patients Just became the official trauma PCU Flexible scheduling Positive work culture
