The Director Revenue Analysis is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving hospital revenue cycle operations and financial performance metrics for a single hospital. This role provides analytical and operational support to hospital and market leadership, including the Hospital CFO, Market CFO, and Market Director Revenue Analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess strong healthcare revenue cycle expertise, managed care analysis experience, and leadership capabilities with a focus on revenue optimization, compliance, KPI monitoring, A/R management, and financial operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Cycle & Financial Analysis
Monitor reports and KPIs that impact hospital revenue cycle performance
Analyze eReserve trends and factors significantly impacting net revenue
Complete revenue sections of month-end Performance Summaries
Identify revenue trends and implement operational improvement initiatives


Managed Care & Contract Analysis
Review proposed Managed Care contracts and identify operational or implementation concerns
Monitor billing, accounts receivable, and reconciliation activities for hospital-specific contracts
Support contract implementation and reimbursement optimization initiatives


Operational Oversight & Compliance
Coordinate and monitor:
Leadership Meetings
Chart Audit Meetings
Compliance Meetings
Charge Master updates
Complex Case Reviews
Internal and External Audit support
Revenue Cycle initiatives
Ensure compliance with financial system applications and hospital policies
Escalate issues requiring CFO or Compliance Director attention


Charge Master & Revenue Integrity
Direct preparation and oversight of hospital Charge Masters
Establish procedures for charge review and updates
Ensure accurate charge capture and billing practices across hospital departments
Serve as internal consultant on revenue integrity and billing best practices


Leadership & Collaboration
Work closely with hospital finance, compliance, and operational leadership
Support revenue cycle process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with legal teams regarding collection issues when necessary


Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 6 years of experience in:
A/R Management
Managed Care Contracting & Analysis
Multi-facility business office leadership
Strong healthcare revenue cycle experience
Strong understanding of:
Billing
Accounts Receivable
Revenue Integrity
Charge Master processes
Managed Care contracts
KPI/SLA monitoring
Strong analytical, operational, and communication skills
Leadership experience in healthcare financial operations


Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in:
Business
Healthcare Administration
Related field
Hospital revenue cycle leadership experience
Experience supporting hospital CFOs and executive leadership
Experience with compliance and audit coordination
Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies
