Job Description\n HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days, nights\n Employment Type: Local Contract\n \n \n Tell us about the unit(s):\n \n Number of Beds -16\n Number of Staff–120\n Type of staff:\n \n Day Shift – Charge nurse, PCT, CST, RN\n Night Shift–Charge nurse, PCT, CST, RN\n \n PatientRatios–1:1, 1:2\n Type of equipment–Baxter Pumps, Phillips electronic fetalmonitoring\n EMR– Cerner,Fetal ink\n \n Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.\n \n Must have L&D experience 2+yrs\n High risk experience\n Immediate newborn care\n \n Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.\n \n Circulating experience\n \n \n List typical procedures performed on unit(s): \n \n VaginalDevlieries\n Cesarean Sections\n D&C\n Cerclage\n C-Hyst\n \n Best personality Fit:\n \n Outgoing\n Friendly\n Adaptable\n \n REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:\n \n NRP\n BLS/ALS\n Advanced Fetal Monitoring\n \n Floating Area(s):\n \n MFMU/MOMB/NICU\n \n \n Must have 1 year of recent L&D experience, be available every other weekend, and have an active state or compact RN license.
