Diesel Technician

Diesel Technician – Baldwinsville, NY Shift: 3rd Shift Sunday Night- Thursday Pay: $24–$33 per hour Expectations and Requirements Follow DOT & OSHA safety procedures consistently Perform proper preventive maintenance Diagnose and repair tractor and trailer/chassis-related defects and repairs Examine, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical problems using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment Perform DOT inspection per FMCSA guidelines Assist in parts inventory management Communicate effectively with internal customers and display good customer service, oral and written communication skills Lift and/or pull 50 lbs or more without restriction; stand or lie for extended periods to repair equipment; move flexibly to reach equipment and parts and maneuver equipment Work outside in inclement weather conditions and in an environment with excessive noise and respiratory hazards without restriction Qualifications Valid driver’s license Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license Technical or advanced degree or equivalent maintenance experience Ability to learn windows‑based computer systemsDiagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs & maintenance Demonstrated problem‑solving skills Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills On‑site evaluation with recommended training Benefits Medical and ancillary benefit plans for employees and families 401(k) program with company match Participation in the Launch Loyalty Club, earning rewards and bonuses Travel expense reimbursement, bonuses and fixed‑rate incentive opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
