RN Regional MDS Coordinator

divh2Regional MDS Coordinator/h2pWe are looking for an experienced regional MDS Coordinator to join our healthcare facility!/ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliProvide expert guidance and oversight for the completion and accuracy of MDS assessments across the region./liliEnsure compliance with CMS regulations, including Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) guidelines./liliReview MDS documentation to ensure it supports care plans and reimbursement./liliTrain and mentor facility-level MDS coordinators and interdisciplinary teams on MDS processes, RAI guidelines, and changes in regulations./liliDevelop and implement educational programs for new and existing staff to enhance MDS knowledge and compliance./liliMonitor and audit MDS submissions to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and quality of assessments./liliCollaborate with facility teams to address and resolve MDS-related deficiencies identified during audits or surveys./liliWork with facility teams to ensure MDS assessments are accurate and reflect residents needs for optimal care planning./liliAssist facilities in preparing for state and federal surveys related to MDS and care planning./liliStay updated on regulatory changes and communicate implications to facility teams./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliState licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)/liliMinimum 3-5 years of MDS experience in a skilled nursing facility./liliStrong understanding of RAI/MDS processes, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement systems, and quality improvement programs./liliExcellent training, mentoring, and leadership abilities./liliProficient in MDS software and EMR systems./li/ulh3What We Offer:/h3ulli401(k) Plan/liliPaid Time Off (PTO)/liliFlexible Scheduling/liliComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance/liliLife Insurance/liliCompetitive Pay Rates/liliOpportunities for Career Growth/li/ul/div
