Nurse Practitioner

Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice, FNP Clinical DecisionMaking Position is a twelve‑month, full‑time contract role located in Boston, Massachusetts. Responsibilities Teach the FNP Clinical Decision Making (CDM) course, delivering 7 sections per academic year. Serve as Course Coordinator during the contractual year: oversee CDM curriculum and program, collaborate with the Director of FNP Clinical Education, manage Section Instructors, conduct regular meetings and provide coaching. Support Section Instructors: provide materials, observe classes, ensure consistency, maintain accurate documentation of instructor work and student grades. Maintain student communication: host weekly office hours, post announcements on the course platform, mentor and provide timely assistance. Participate in service activities: contribute to curriculum development, attend department meetings and committees, engage in professional governance. Maintain professional development: keep licensure current, pursue ongoing learning, engage in the broader academic community, and demonstrate commitment to social justice-oriented education. Qualifications Graduate Nursing degree from an accredited university (required). DNP/PhD/EdD in Nursing or related field (required). Board‑certified Family Nurse Practitioner (required). At least 5+years of NP clinical experience (required). Graduate‑level teaching experience (preferred). Online teaching experience (preferred). Unencumbered Massachusetts RN license and AP RN license for in‑person teaching. Demonstrated collegiality, teaching across diverse social and personal identities, and currency in discipline certifications. Terms of Service 12‑month contract duration. Reports to the Director of FNP Clinical Education. Potential remote or hybrid work; required occasional travel to the Boston campus. Benefits & Compensation Salary Range: $77,858–$108,996.
