Purchasing Coordinator

Purchasing Coordinator Fremont, CA You area detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support estimating, procurement, and project hand-off activities for commercial and data center construction projects. This role works closely with project teams, management, manufacturers, and distributors to develop accurate material pricing, complete project documentation, and support successful project execution. This position pays: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour What you will be doing: Attend bid meetings, site surveys, and project walk-throughs. Review RFPs, project scopes, estimates, and revisions for completeness and accuracy. Perform document take-offs and accurately document project measurements. Obtain material pricing and availability from manufacturers and distributors. Partner with management to determine labor capabilities, rates, equipment, materials, and other project requirements. Prepare project hand-off documentation for awarded projects. Develop change-order pricing for ongoing project work as needed. Complete cut sheets and supporting documentation for field teams. Coordinate information across estimating, purchasing, project management, and field teams. Prioritize assignments and meet established project deadlines. What you bring: Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant field or office experience in a lead role. Strong knowledge of electrical or commercial construction project installations. Understanding of engineering design principles, construction methods, manufacturing processes, and material properties. Strong numerical, computer, communication, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
