Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Heart Station

Location: Ohio

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with Saturday rotation.

Job Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work in the Heart Station department, focusing on the operation of SPECT imaging techniques and support of nuclear cardiology procedures. The incumbent will collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct SPECT imaging and other related nuclear medicine procedures.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as directed by physicians.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and care during imaging procedures.
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patient medical histories and conditions.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of nuclear medicine equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate degree or higher in Allied Health Field.
• ARRT registered and licensed in the State of Ohio.
• Minimum of one year experience in Nuclear Cardiology, with an emphasis on SPECT Imaging and computer training preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting and manual dexterity.
