Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a current Washington state license and relevant certifications to join our team. The RRT will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to a diverse patient population, including those in family maternity, obstetrics, and adult critical care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy.
• Perform arterial punctures and manage intubation where necessary.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Active Washington state respiratory licensure (RRT).
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
• Experience with charting in Epic system is required.
