Inpatient Dietitian

Position Overview Registered Dietitian for PIH Health Whittier Hospital, a 523‑bed acute care facility located in Whittier, CA. This role is part of the PIH Health network serving communities across Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the San Gabriel Valley. What You'll Do Provide nutrition care across acute, sub‑acute rehab, and skilled nursing units. Lead quality initiatives including patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays. Educate interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses) and mentor dietetic interns. What We Offer Competitive salary based on education and experience. What You Bring Registered Dietitian credential or RD‑eligible required. Strong communication and time‑management skills. Collaborative team player able to work with physicians and clinical staff. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum education: Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as per ACEND. For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24, a bachelor’s degree with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND is acceptable. Credentials: Must meet eligibility requirements for RD/RDN by CDR and become registered within 120 days of hire. Some states/facilities require RD/RDN credentials at time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
