Gymnastics / Sports Instructor – Part-Time
We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic instructor to teach recreational gymnastics and movement classes for children ages 3–5 and 6+ at New York Gymnastics Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY and/or Shames JCC in Tarrytown, NY
No prior coaching experience is required! We are happy to train the right person. The most important qualification is a love of working with children and the ability to bring positive energy and enthusiasm to each class.
Experience in gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading, dance, sports, or working with children is a definite plus.

- Tuesday: 2:45–5:45 PM Shame’s JCC
- NYGC IN BRIARCLIFF HOURS
- Thursday: 12:30–3:30 PM — daytime availability required
Additional class hours: IN BRIARCLIFF MANOR
- Monday: 4:30–7:30 PM
- Wednesday: 4:30–7:30 PM
- Thursday: 4:30–7:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM–12:30 PM
What We're Looking For
- Loves working with children
- Friendly, energetic, and encouraging personality
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable leading and interacting with groups of children
- Willing to learn how to teach beginning gymnastics skills
- Gymnastics, tumbling, sports, camp, or childcare experience is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Part-time
This is a great opportunity for a college student, former gymnast or cheerleader, teacher, camp counselor, athlete, or anyone who enjoys working with kids and wants a fun, active part-time job.
