Contract Structural Engineer (Senior) -Remote Work
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles and be proficient in STADD, STRUDL, and ANSYS. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of complex structural systems.
Responsibilities:
- Performing structural design and analysis of complex structures
- Preparing and reviewing construction documents
- Providing technical support to project managers and architects
- Working with other engineers and consultants to develop and implement solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Advance Degree Preferred)
- Professional Registration (PE) Desired
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering related to the new Construction and /or retrofit of Power Generation facilities or other similar Heavy Industrial Facilities
- Detailed Knowledge of Engineering Design Principles, competent in Structural steel and Concrete Design and Proficiency with Structural Codes, standards and industry Methodologies
- Proficiency in STADD/STRUDL, PCA Column/Mats, ANSYS, MathCAD, Excel and AutoCAD
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
