Dental AssistantChestnut Dental Associates is a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming, supportive, and team-oriented environment.Position SummaryThe Dental Assistant supports dentists in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring a safe, efficient, and comfortable experience for patients. Reports To: Clinical Supervisor.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesPrepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment for patient care.Review patient charts, histories, and treatment plans before appointments.Assist dentists during procedures and maintain efficient clinical flow.Take and process dental radiographs and perform coronal polishing as permitted.Provide patient education and review post-operative instructions.Maintain sterilization, infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance.Maintain accurate documentation and communicate scheduling needs to front office staff.Manage supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.Participate in training, meetings, and continuing education.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsCurrent DANB CertificationHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrent CPR CertificationCurrent X-Ray CertificationProficiency in spoken and written EnglishCore CompetenciesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with patients of all agesStrong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving abilitiesKnowledge of dental assisting procedures and infection controlManual dexterity and attention to detailCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualificationsPotential sign-on bonusAdditional $3/hour evening shift differential35-hour work weekSummer hoursMedical and vision insurance beginning Day 1401(k) with employer match9 paid holidaysPaid sick timeEmployer-paid annual CPR renewalPet insuranceContinuing education opportunitiesChestnut Dental Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
