About the Position

Job Title

Travel CST – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Location

Las Vegas, NV | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Weekend rotation and on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both first and second scrub roles in complex and complicated CVOR cases
• Assist with procedures including CABG, Carotid Endarterectomy, structural heart repair, and congenital defect repairs (VSD, PFO)
• Operate and work alongside advanced surgical equipment including O-ARM and advanced microscopes
• Document and manage patient information using the Meditech EMR system
• Rotate on-call requirements equally among the team, including weekend call
• Float to the Main OR as needed per unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active national CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Active, hands-on experience with complex CVOR cases, including both first and second scrub roles
• Experience with bypass and/or ECMO procedures
• Ability to rotate weekends and participate in an on-call schedule shared equally among staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Congenital cardiovascular surgical experience
• Pediatric cardiovascular surgical experience
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment requiring resilience and adaptability
