CNC MachinistPlano, TX - Hourly Range 25-30hrThe CNC Machinist is responsible for managing the production rate and quality, making sure the product meets the highest standards of the Company's product line.ResponsibilitiesPerform operational functions of CNC machines, maintain proper maintenance of machine equipmentMaintain acceptable reject and production ratesVerify part compliance to print or other documentation, uses Calipers and MicrometersReading of blueprints, sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and dimensions of stock requiredSelect appropriate machines (e.g. lathes) and position or load material for a job. Correctly loading and unloading fixturing, Jaws, Chucks, Main Spindle, Sub Spindle, Collets, Pads, Bar feeder inputsPlans proper sequence of steps to complete assignment which may include programming input or corrections. Determine and program size of batches and speed of machineRequirementsHS/GED2 Years' experience on CNC lathe / millTechnical school degree or certificate is a plusAvailable to work overtime as needed.
