EnProVera is seeking a Program Analyst to support the FBI's National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) within the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division.In this role, you'll help ensure firearms and explosives eligibility determinations are made accurately and efficiently in accordance with federal law. Your work will directly support the FBI's mission to safeguard communities, protect public safety, and strengthen national security by helping keep firearms and explosives out of prohibited hands.Position Responsibilities:Conduct research and analysis on firearm and explosives-related background check transactions.Review and validate records across FBI and CJIS databases to ensure accuracy and completeness.Analyze delayed transactions and determine appropriate next-step actions in accordance with established procedures.Research explosives permit checks and evaluate information for validity and compliance.Communicate with law enforcement agencies and other partners to obtain, verify, and update critical information.Document findings, case activity, and transaction research with precision and attention to detail.Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and data quality.Maintain strict accountability for sensitive information, assigned equipment, and Brady Identification Numbers.Support mission-critical workload surges and special projects as operational needs arise.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university ORMinimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience or military experience.Active Secret Security Clearance.Must reside within 60 miles of the Clarksburg, WV worksite.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Position Details:Full Time, US Citizen, FLSA ExemptSalary: $42,500Location: 1000 Cluster Hollow Road, Clarksburg, WV 26036Current work schedule: M-F 6:00 am -2:30 pm ESTDrug Free Workplace.
