Server Position at Banner HouseFounded in 1972, T Bar M Racquet Club has served as the premier private members tennis and racquet Club for Texas and the greater southwest region. It is internationally recognized as a best-in-class training facility for competitive, professional, semi-professional and social tennis for adults and children, while also offering a range of health and wellness amenities, including a gym, chiropractic and sports medicine services and group fitness classes.In June 2022, Dallas-based WoodHouse acquired T Bar M and is renovating and enhancing the property, creating a world-class racquet Club. The evolved Club will house the classic tennis club and facilities in a fresh new environment. The Club's brand and amenities will continue to cater to individuals and families in search of a social and communal anchor that is grounded in an active, health and wellness-focused mindset.The new Banner House at T Bar M will include 21 tennis courts (8 indoor courts, 3 Euro red clay courts and 14 outdoor courts), 2 padel courts, 8 pickleball courts, retail/pro shop, a resort style pool, taqueria, private events, lounges, restaurant and bar. In addition to these amenities there is a 12,000 SF Fitness Center with best-in-class training equipment and state of the art locker rooms, including a cold plunge, dry sauna and hot tub. Paired with the new Club house and Fitness offerings is a full service Wellness, Spa and Chiropractic offering with 6 treatment rooms for massage/facials, IV's, injectables and 3 chiropractic rooms for adjustments, soft tissue therapy, needling, and more.About The RoleAt Banner House, a Server plays a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our valued members and guests. Your warm and friendly demeanor, along with your attention to detail, will contribute to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for every member and guest who walks through outdoor.A successful Server at Banner House will greet members and guests with a welcoming smile, take accurate food and beverage orders, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and deliver orders promptly and accurately. Your ability to anticipate members and guests needs, address any concerns, and maintain a professional and friendly demeanor will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.What You'll DoWarmly greet guests, seat them at their tables, and provide them with menus.Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.Offer knowledgeable recommendations and answer any questions regarding menu and items and ingredients.Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.Anticipate guest needs and promptly address any concerns or special requests.Clear tables, refill drinks, and ensure tables are properly set for the next guests.Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of orders.Assist with basic cleaning duties, such as wiping down tables and maintaining cleanliness in your sections.Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.Willingness to come early to shift to attend all Pre-shifts.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Server in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.Strong knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the restaurant's needs.Physical RequirementsAbility to handle and manipulate objects with hands, including seizing, grasping, turning, and holding.Mastery in carrying, balancing, and presenting trays with grace and poise.Capability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.Fast-paced movements required to navigate various areas of the club.Ability to lift, pull, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds occasionally and 15 pounds regularly.Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing as required.
