Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create individualized therapy strategies tailored to client needs. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy across multiple formats including individual sessions, group therapies, and couples counseling. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software to ensure efficiency and accuracy. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic client care. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and peer consultation to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health research. \n
As a Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor, you will primarily work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds who may have limited access to traditional mental health resources. Your clients may be dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your commitment to a client-centered approach and cultural competency will foster trust and effective therapeutic relationships.

- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia is mandatory. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting. \n
- Strong understanding of both legal and ethical standards related to mental health counseling. \n
