A day in the life:

The lead floor tech will oversee and perform the cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of all hard surfaces and carpeted floors within the facility. This role involves leading a team, ensuring quality floor care services, and operating specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

What You'll Do As An Exceptional Team Member

• Deliver high-quality service and professionalism, upholding the standards and integrity of the environmental services department
• Clean, maintain, and care for a variety of floor types, including tile, carpet, and brick
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule
• Follow established procedures for the correct use of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Operate, maintain, and care for floor cleaning equipment safely and properly
• Consistently observe safety protocols, including the use of "wet floor" signs and other precautions
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Promptly report any safety hazards or concerns

What You'll Need To Be An Extraordinary Team Member

• Minimum of (2) years' experience and supervisory experience
• Must know how to strip, refinish and burnish hard floors
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable transportation
• A valid driver's license with good driving record may be required
