GENERAL OVERVIEW Crew Members at Jersey Mike’s assist customers at the front counter, build sandwiches, maintain a clean environment, and support other store operations to uphold Jersey Mike’s high standards. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Provide food that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high‑quality standards. Deliver customer service that is above and beyond expectations. Maintain a clean store and workplace. Set up the store, including food preparation. Perform food safety and sanitation tasks (cleaning, sweeping, mopping, etc.). Use slicer (18 years old and above only). Use tomato slicer (17 years old and above only). Follow directives of Operations Partner in execution of responsibilities. ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Food quality that meets Jersey Mike’s specifications and high‑quality standards. Providing customer service at the highest level possible throughout the restaurant. A restaurant that follows standards of Jersey Mike’s Franchise System. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Customer service skills and the ability to interact with customers and co‑workers on a consistent basis. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 0‑1 year experience in food service. 0‑1 year experience in cash handling. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Incumbent of the position performs constant vigorous physical tasks requiring long periods of standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting, with a need to lift and carry up to at least fifty (50) pounds unassisted.
