JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or BC in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with PALS, ATLS, ACLS
Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license required
DEA / CDS: Active Louisiana DEA and Controlled Substance license required
Certifications: PALS, ATLS, ACLS required
Experience: 2 years experience in emergency medicine required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Supervise and collaborate with NPPA (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) in the Fast Track area.
Manage acute medical conditions, trauma, and critical care cases.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Participate in shift coverage requiring 42 shifts per month across 3 full-time physicians.
