Phlebotomist

Position Phlebotomist – Sun City West, AZ (14418 W Meeker Blvd) Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and rotating Saturdays as needed; additional days/hours as needed. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or ≥1 year experience as a phlebotomist. Experience drawing on pediatrics to geriatrics. Bilingual in English/Spanish. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours are only eligible for the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO. Phlebotomists may be eligible for a quarterly bonus through the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan.
