Sentara CarePlex Hospital is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit.

Nights - 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Weekly Scheduled Hours

36 hours

License and Certification

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

Education

• RN-Associate's Degree, or
• RN-Bachelor's Degree, or
• RN-Diploma, or
• RN-Master's Degree

This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Department Overview:

The Sentara CarePlex Intensive Care Unit is a 24-bed medical-surgical ICU with eICU monitoring. Our patient population includes COPD, CHF, R/O MI, respiratory failure, GI bleeds, pancreatitis, renal failure, liver failure, multiple organ failures with or without sepsis, and surgical populations, with vascular and ENT surgeries, primary stroke center, being the most common.In addition, devices in ICU includes, PRISMAX and Balloon Pump.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
